Designed to measure the most critical three-phase power parameters, the Fluke 1734 can simultaneously log rms voltage, rms current, voltage, voltage and current THD, active power, reactive power, power factor, active energy, reactive energy, and more. With enough memory for more than a year of data logging, the 1734 can discover which loads can be optimised to enable you to reduce your energy bill.

By discovering where and when energy is being used allows energy usage to be compared with activity in the facility. The Fluke 1734 consist of measurement hardware and application software so that data can be collect and reports created with the minimum of effort. The 1734 instrument incredibly easy to use, it even makes automatic checks to ensure the user has connected up correctly. Downloading data is quick and simple – data be written directly to a USB stick without having to use a computer for downloading. The application software creates reports in minutes and allows users to compare data from location to location with ease.

Question: Is the Fluke 1732 and 1734 a power quality analyser?

Answer: No, the Fluke 1732 and 1732 are designed to allow facilities professional discover their energy savings potential. The only power quality measurement made by the Fluke 1732 and 1734 is total harmonics distortion, if this number is high then it’s time to consider a product like the Fluke 430-II Series or the Fluke 1736 and 1738.
