The Chauvin C.A 6011 is a battery operated continuity tester with a built-in reeling box with protected 30 m cable designed for your systematic earth bond continuity tests at 200mA. It reverses the current and calculates the mean automatically.

In continuity mode, the colour of the backlighting of the LCD display unit is blue when the measurement is <2Ω (or <1Ω) and red when the measurement is ≥2Ω (or ≥1Ω). In resistance mode, the colour of the backlighting of the LCD display unit is blue when the measurement is <200Ω. It is off when the measurement is ≥200Ω.

The CA 6011 also has a compensation function to null out the resistance of the measurement leads.
